(Las Vegas Blvd, Nevada) Right at the entrance of the Fashion Show, a small stall reads 'Luke's Lobster'. With all the hype from its international branches in Japan, Luke's has gathered quite a bit of attention on social media, you can hardly blame us for being excited to go check it out for ourselves.
Being the firsts customers in the store means not all the items are available yet, we ordered 2 lobster rolls and 1 additional lobster tail (thats almost 50usd incl taxes!) The lobster roll was pretty decent, according to Luke's,
We serve our lobster, crab and shrimp rolls Maine-style – a quarter pound of seafood served chilled atop a buttered, griddled New England split-top bun with a swipe of mayo, a dash of lemon butter and a sprinkle of our Secret Seasoning.
A lobster roll without mayo is really refreshing as you can actually savour the lobster itself. As you can see in the video, the bun itself is layered with melted butter before the lobster is topped onto the bun with liquid butter drizzled all over the top. The secret seasoning tastes like a combination of herbs and pepper and just to top it off, an additional serving of liquid butter at the side!
All in all, lobster roll is pretty good, great refreshing taste of the lobster with butter and light seasoning, worth a try but the lobster tail is worth a skip, nothing great about it.
